Garry Edwards

Director - Regional Infrastructure and a major shareholder of EC Agribusiness.

Mr Edwards experience in the livestock industry stems from growing up on a commercial beef cattle property in the Hunter Valley of NSW. He was invited to judge various breeds in the Beef Cattle sections of the Sydney and Melbourne Royal shows, regional livestock exhibitions and various agricultural shows throughout Australia.

He has an extensive range skills and expertise in animal husbandry, animal behaviour, livestock production and enterprise management and has provided management consultancy services to some of Australia's largest pastoral companies, live exporters and industry organisations.
Over the past 10 years he has been heavily involved in the development of world leading technology systems for the National Livestock Identification System (Livestock Exchange Pty Ltd is currently Australia’s largest provider of NLIS technology systems and hardware to the Australian saleyard industry).

Mr Edwards is playing an integral role in facilitating generational change in livestock marketing techniques, development of new facilities, operational techniques and adoption of automated data collection and traceability systems.

Mr Edwards is also the CEO and Managing Director of Livestock Exchange, and the CEO and Director of Livestock Link.

 

Craig Doyle

Director - Regional Infrastructure and major shareholder of EC Agribusiness.

Mr Doyle has over 20 years experience in a diverse range of commercial business areas. He is the founder, managing director and 100% shareholder in the Doyle Group - a Brisbane based company with diverse investment interests including property development and investment, rural property holdings, commercial infrastructure and aviation.

Mr Doyle is also a Director and a major shareholder of Livestock Exchange, PowerHub Pty Ltd, Rotec Design Pty Ltd, and a Director of Livestock Link.

Mr Doyle recently invested in excess of $35m in rural holdings in the Goondiwindi area, and has commenced several infrastructure projects to expand production capacity, diversity and commercial sustainability. Recent infrastructure projects include broad acre irrigation, feed lotting and livestock finishing systems.

Mr Doyle has worked within or been contracted to organisations that focus on Commercial/Industrial Manufacture and Supply, Carbon Credits, Waste Treatment, Livestock Services, Rural Infrastructure and Energy Infrastructure.

 

Richard Norton

Director - Regional Infrastructure and General Manager Agency Operations Landmark Operations Ltd. Mr Norton plays an integral role in all aspects of operational management, strategic planning and development.

Mr Norton has over 20 years experience in agribusiness in Australia, including working for Wesfarmers Dalgety from 1995 - 2000 as an Area Livestock Manager, NSW Finance Manager and Network Manager NSW.

Since 2000, Mr Norton has worked within or been contracted to organisations including Coca Cola Amatil, Woolworths, Toll Holdings and Cospak International, gaining experience in both Australia and overseas holding senior positions in the logistics, packaging and retail industries.

Mr Norton has extensive experience in agribusiness value chain management and is currently the General Manager of a commodity portfolio with annual sales of over $1.2B.

Mr Norton’s highest qualification is an MBA from Monash University, is a licensed Real Estate, Stock and Station Agent, accredited auctioneer and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Bradley Crump

Director - Regional Infrastructure and Chief Financial Officer of Landmark.
Mr Crump is an integral part of the Landmark management team which is a leading supplier of rural services and inputs to producers across Australia, specialising in merchandise, fertilizer, finance, real estate, insurance, wool and Livestock. Nationally Landmark markets approximately 2 million head of cattle and 12 million head of sheep through 400 locations across Australia.

 

Alistair Brook

Alternate Director - Regional Infrastructure and National Livestock Manager of Landmark.

Mr Brook is heavily involved in all company affairs and plays an integral role in all areas of RLX development and strategic planning.

Mr Brook has over 14 years experience in the Australian Agribusiness industry having worked for global Agribusiness companies including Landmark and Elders, commencing as a trainee and working in various State and National Livestock and Business Development roles.

Complementing his agribusiness experience Mr Brook has further developed his business, strategy and leadership skills with State Management roles for a major asset management and IT remarketing company.  

Mr Brook has extensive value chain experience having worked across all areas of the red meat value chain, including genetics, production, processing and marketing of boxed beef and lamb to international and domestic markets.  Mr Brook has a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans and business process improvement projects.

Mr Brook has attained tertiary qualifications in both Australia and the USA in the areas of Finance, Animal & Meat Science and is a graduate of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.

Andrew McCarron - Chief Executive Officer

Mr McCarron has extensive experience within the meat and livestock industry. Prior to taking up his current position with Regional Infrastructure, his career within the livestock industry sector included;

  • Business Development Manager of Elders Limited NSW for 5 years;
  • CEO of the Stock & Station Agents Association Limited (SSAA), and Australian Council of Livestock Agents (ACLA) between 1997 and 2003, and
  • Management roles within the NSW Meat Industry Authority from 1991 to 1997.

Mr McCarron’s career has included representation on various livestock marketing and policy making groups & committee’s including the National Saleyard Quality Assurance, SafeMeat Executive, NVD Working Group, National Market Reporting Advisory Group, NSW Saleyard Code of Practice Working Group, NLIS Management Committee & Primary Industry Standing Committee, NSW Chemical Residue Consultative Committee, and NSW Saleyard Operators Association.

Mr McCarron is a member of the Saleyard Operators Association Executive, and involved in an Executive sub-committee charged with establishing a new National Body.

The Saleyard Industry has been a significant focus throughout his professional career, extending from his involvement in developing national saleyard code of practice policy, to livestock agent policy and practice. Over his career, Mr McCarron has developed a strong, open and respectful working relationship with many people throughout the livestock marketing sector. In doing so he has also developed a very good appreciation of the issues the livestock industry faces, and those it is likely to face moving forward.

Phil Speers – RIPL Business Development Manager

Phil has 20 years experience in the Stock and Station agency business, the past 15 years with Landmark, holding the positions of Qld State Wool Manager and the QLD Livestock Operations Manager.
